What a weekend!

The Hari Raya Puasa long weekend has come and gone. I'm now drinking drain water in mcdonald's waiting for the right time to walk over to my meeting.

Even though it was a rather uneventful weekend, I think we had lots of fun doing nothing.

XT enjoyed swimming yesterday morning, as he hasn't been to the pool in a few weeks. For some strange reason, he didn't really like wading in the baby pool but he was much more confident floating in our arms in the adult pool. Lovebell says it could be due to the lack of buoyancy in the smaller pool.

Sunday night we had dinner with Lovebell's sister and their mom. Buffet at aquamarine. I reckon the reviews for the place are over-doing it. It's a nice place, but it's not that fantastic. Not for $50 per pax anyway. I think Melt was much better and at least there was an element of showmanship to the dinner, with the cooking being more of a performance than just an action.

Mcdonald's coffee is really drain water.

Saturday we visited our friends the WWs. Their baby is almost a month old now. It seems so long ago when XT was that age, yet it's actually less than 1.5 years ago. They seem to be managing well, but with parental support, things are always doable. At the very least, it gives you peace of mind. To know that someone is there to fall back on, should you fail.
